Ok. So we left Kansas City about 10:30 am. and headed up to Pierre South Dakota and then up Glasgow Montana. We spent Friday night in Montana. It is about 60 miles from the Canadian border. It was really windy. The nicest hotel was horrible but not as bad as Watson Lake. It is hard for me to describe the hotel. Anyway. by the time we got there we were so tired that we went to bed about 7 pm and I was up at 4:45 am checking the weather. I spent lots, and lots and lots of time checking weather. I am getting really good at aviation weather. We left Saturday morning and tried to make it to Fort Nelson but when we got about 30 minutes out the weather went down in Fort Nelson and we had to turn around and go back to Grande Prairie, Alberta. We spent Saturday and all day Sunday in GRande Prairie. The weather was terrible in Fort Nelson and we had to wait until Monday afternoon to take off. We left Grande Prairie in some terrible winds but needed to get moving. We made it to Watson Lake on Monday night. Now that is a story.
